Wherein We Begin

We spend quite a bit of time cooking on most weekends, and putting photos of our attempts online. We’re no experts, but we love exploring new recipes and perfecting old ones. We’re half-assed gourmets, and you’re welcome to join us.

We’ll add recipes, pictures, and any tips we happen to arrive at. First one is free: as we learned in Spain, invest in good olive oil – it makes all the difference. We bought a ton of this when we were in Andalucia, and it’s been well-used and loved since we got back. What garlic doesn’t make better, olive oil will.
