Hainanese Chicken Rice

We were going to cook this Rick Stein recipe but Liz W sent us an even better one. There are subtle differences but we have not been given permission to publish Liz’s friend’s recipe so if you want to try this meal, you’ll have to make do with the Rick recipe.

It sounds like a lot of hard work but while you might spend a few hours in the kitchen, it is well worth it. This is one of the tastiest recipes we’ve cooked and the chilli dip is amazing and should be used with many other meals.





And then there is dessert. Always a classic.
